It's not often that
I have a chance to focus on one particular RV. Today was a great
exception as I spotted this beautiful RV8 at Falcon Field (KFCC)
in Peachtree City, GA after flying in a Cessna 206 for a GPS update.
Dane Patterson, a Delta Airlines pilot, owns N460DP. The aircraft
had just been rolled out of the hangar at Gardner Aviation Specialist
located on the field at KFFC.
This airplane has a
spectacularly equipped cockpit that includes a Garmin GNS 480,
a panel mounted Garmin 496, and a brand new Garmin G600. The aircraft
also includes a Grand Rapids Technologies EIS engine monitor and
a Dynon Avionics EFIS D10A. The engine is a Lycoming IOF 360 with
Fadec control.
Dane is also a member
of the Falcon RV Squadron based at Falcon Field.
