Static line routing

There was an article in the RVator (See index) a year or so ago about how to route the static line through the F-705 (seat back bulkhead). The pdf (but not a good copy) is on the RV Builder's Yahoogroup. See staticline.pdf in the newsletters and publications section.

But I've taken some pictures and post them here for posterity. Keep in mind, I haven't fully routed things yet but I used the article as a guide.

This is shot from the rear, of course. Bring the tubing forward underneath the longeron and make some clips to hold it every few inches prior to when it reaches this point.

The article says "rather than cutting a big hole in this double bulkhead and installing a pair of snap bushings, we recommend putting a hole just big enough to pass the static line through. You can put a sleeve of thin tubing around it for chafing protection if you like, but this tube is pretty tough so we haven't. The location allows the static line to remain tucked under the longeron, out of sight and harm, while removing a minimum amount of metal from the main bulkhead."

This is the view from the front of the bulkhead. As you can see, I probably should've gone a little bit higher so that it could go right into the canopy side deal, there. But I can easily loop it up into there, nobody's going to see it there because of the seat, and I'm not quite that anal to worry about it.
